SATURDAY 4TH JULY
How about volunteering on a very special Heritage Railway?
Come and see what we do, and if you would like to join us!
We have volunteer roles in many areas, including train crew, engineering, administration, retail, events, building maintenance, fund-raising, planning, and publicity.
We have a friendly team of volunteers from many backgrounds who give their time and talent to keep railway history alive, and bring the excitement of live steam trains to visitors of all ages.
Our Volunteers Day gives you the chance to meet our members and let them show you what they do and how you can contribute.
You don't need any specific skills or experience - we can find a role for you and give you any training required.
We have workshop sessions every Thursday and Sunday all year round, and we run steam trains for the public from April to October.
2020 is a special year for us - now that we own our land we will be able to plan for the future with confidence, with better facilities, additional events and more preservation and restoration activities.
To do this we need more volunteers!
Come and see us on Saturday July 4th, we're open from 1 to 4pm.
If you can't make it then, call in any Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon.
We look forward to meeting you!
