In particular they will depend on the COVID-19 regulations in force at the time. We will update this page as more information becomes available.
For special-event tickets purchased on the day, the prices (except for Santa Specials) are:
Adults: £4.50, children (3+) £3.50, family (2+2) £12, concessions £4. Under 3's free.
Remember, you can save on these prices if buy our Advance Anyday tickets, available on-line only and valid without time limit. You can buy them here.
Concessions are for over 60's, official carers and Armed Forces in uniform or with ID.

The Easter Bunny is very sorry he wasn't able to meet everyone this year, but is already looking forward to Easter 2022!

Friendly Engines Day
Our special event especially for families.
Two engines in steam, plus diesels!
Other attractions include children's fairground ride, heritage family games, drive-a- diesel, Meccano displays, model railways, burger van and tea-room.
Teddy Bears Day

A special day for children who love their teddies - two engines in steam, and lots of teddy bears!
Children bring a bear & travel free!
Come and have a ride with us, and have a surprise in the woods!
Attractions include model railway displays, heritage family games, rail catering wagon and tea room.
Strawberries and Steam
Unfortunately due to current COVID-19 restrictions we have had to cancel our Strawberries and Steam event.
However our heritage trains will be running on Sunday 20th June, with our tea-room selling local strawberries, cakes and hot drinks.
Come and visit us - we would love to see you!

How about volunteering on a very special Heritage Railway?
We have volunteer roles in many areas, including train crew, engineering, retail, events, building maintenance, fund-raising, planning, and publicity.
Our Volunteers Day gives you the chance to meet our members and let them show you what they do and how you can contribute.
You don't need any specific skills or experience - we can find a role for you and give you any training required.
Come and see us on Saturday 3rd July, we're open from 1 to 4pm.
If you can't make it then, call in any Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon.
We look forward to meeting you!

7th and 8th August
Our big event of the year - our two-day summer steam gala!
We bring together all your favourite attractions into one event!
All available engines in steam, plus diesels, also live steam model railways and heritage bus rides. Children's fairground ride, traditional games, rail catering van, cake stall. Live music in the marquee.

Pumpkin Express & Halloween
The scariest event
of the year!
On Sunday 24th October, ride the Pumpkin Express, departing every 20 minutes from 11am to 4pm.
Standard fares apply.
Children choose their own pumpkin!
Unlimited rides, two engines in steam, plus hot food and drinks and our very own Giant Straw Bale Spider!
Children in Need Day
All the train rides are FREE!
Just put a donation into one of our collection buckets and support the BBC's Children in Need charity!
